Destination Wedding Photographer in Udaipur | Swai Tales
Story-led. Unfiltered. Yours.
We're based in Mumbai and we've been shooting weddings for 6+ years. Every wedding has its own rhythm. We show up to feel it, not just photograph it.

Why Goa destination weddings are different
Goa weddings move at their own pace — unhurried, spread across days, with guests who have actually travelled and are fully present. Most couples plan a 2–3 day schedule: a Mehendi or Cocktail, a Sangeet, and the main ceremony — each function taking full advantage of the outdoor spaces Goa venues are built for.
A beachside phera with the Arabian Sea as your backdrop looks like nothing else. A Sangeet on a cliff-top lawn at W Goa — or across the paddy-field gardens at Alila Diwa — creates photographs that are entirely Goa's own. Indoor banquet photography this is not.
Shooting at Goa venues requires a photographer who understands open, natural-light spaces — how to read the hard midday sun on white beach sand, how to use the long golden hour that South Goa's open horizon delivers, how the evening light looks differently on the Bay at Grand Hyatt versus the private beach at The Leela. We know these venues. We know what each one asks of a photographer.
The recent wedding we covered at Westin — Shivani & Ananya
We had the privilege of covering Shivani & Ananya 's Marwadi wedding at the Westin, GOA.
It was a three day event covering - Welcome Dinner, Mayra, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, and the main Wedding ceremony. Over 400 guests. Three days of celebrations that never felt repetitive because every event had its own character.
We were there for all of it.
Goa has been part of our travel from early on. From Christian ceremonies — where the light inside a Portuguese chapel demands a completely different sensitivity than an open-air mandap — to Marwadi baraat celebrations winding through resort driveways, to intimate beach pheras for 50 guests. We have shot Goa's full range.
Every Goa wedding teaches you something new about working with sea light, salt air, and guests who are already on holiday mode. We have learnt all of it.

Why couples from Mumbai choose Swai Tales for Goa
We know the light. Goa's venues are predominantly outdoor, and the light changes fast — from intense afternoon glare to the extraordinary golden hour that beachside properties are famous for. We know how to read it across a full day and plan shooting sequences around it.
We travel as a team. We send 2–3 photographers to destination weddings — never a single photographer. At a large Goa resort spread across multiple lawns, a chapel, and a beach, one photographer cannot be everywhere.
We do not interfere. Destination weddings have a particular atmosphere — guests have travelled, everyone is more present, celebrations run looser. Our job is to document that without altering it. We do not pull people away from moments to pose.
We handle logistics ourselves. Travel, accommodation, venue recces, timeline review — we manage all of it. You brief us once. On the wedding day, you do not manage us.
We deliver on time. Sneak peek within 1–2 days of each event. Full gallery within 30 days. Film within 60–90 days — even for destination weddings where we are travelling back from Goa.
